This is the forest cats' code of life.
GENERAL
1. The Clan always comes first.
2. Remain faithful to your Clan.
3. Trust and respect your leader and his/her commands.
4. Hunt for the Clan first, yourself second.
5. Do not kill another cat unless your life is at stake.
IN REGARDS TO LEADERS
1. Die to protect your leader.
2. Leaders are in control of the Clan. No cat is above the Leader.
3. LEADERS CAN HAVE KITS! Male leaders are allowed to have kits, and female leaders only if their deputy is willing to take control of the camp for a while, at which time the Second takes the deputy's responsibilities.
IN REGARDS TO DEPUTYS
1. Warriors must have had at least one apprentice before becoming deputy.
2. Deputys handle patrols, border defense, and other everyday things.
3. Deputys are to be respected just as much as the leader.
IN REGARDS TO SECONDS
1. Seconds are appointed by the Deputy to take care of deputy responsibilities whenand if the leader decides to have kits.
2. Unless the Second is taking Deputy responsibilities, they are regarded as an ordinary warrior.
IN REGARDS TO WARRIORS
1. Defend your Clan with your life.
2. Show respect and trust toward your leader.
3. You are at your leader and deputy's command.
IN REGARDS TO APPRENTICES
1. Your mentor is to be respected.
2. You must show respect and trust toward your mentor, leader, and deputy, and you are under their command at all times.
3. You must get permissoin from your mentor to do anything.
4. Always listen to what your mentor has to say.
IN REGARDS TO ELDERS
1. Elders are to be cares for by apprentices.
2. Elders are not to be the subject of taunts, jeers, or teasing.
